Patent number: 4317468Abstract: An air compressor having a main pressure line connected to an object to be inflated and an accumulator connected to the main pressure line through a restrictor to receive an average of the output pressure during the pumping stroke and to receive, at other times, the actual object pressure so that the pressure in the accumulator corresponds to the pressure in the object, and a relief valve responsive to the pressure in the accumulator for connecting the accumulation to atmosphere when a pressure preselected by a regulator is obtained in the object.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 1979Date of Patent: March 2, 1982Assignee: Rite Autotronics CorporationInventors: Edwin L. Patent number: 4279355Abstract: The container comprises an open-topped cylindrical container body having a pair of tabs on the upper end of the outside, and a removable cylindrical resilient cap, having a sidewall with vertical grooves on the inside matching the tabs in location, but closer together diametrically than are the tabs. The cap is deformable to accommodate the tabs. The sidewall also has a pair of about horizontal arcuate grooves extending from the vertical grooves larger diametrically than the vertical grooves to receive the tabs. The horizontal grooves may narrow as they diverge from the vertical grooves. The cap cannot be removed from the container body without first rotating the cap to free the wedged tabs, then ovaling the cap to allow the cap to be rotated to a position where the vertical grooves and tabs are aligned, whereupon the cap can be lifted off the container body.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 1980Date of Patent: July 21, 1981Assignee: Rite Autotronics CorporationInventors: Edwin L. Schwartz, George E. Robson

Patent number: 4096441Abstract: The herein disclosed test instrument includes an arrangement for measuring the standing wave ratio of a transmitter, antenna combination which comprises a printed circuit board having a first conductive path thereon adapted for connection in series with the energy flowing between a transmitter and its associated antenna, a second conductive path contiguously disposed on the printed circuit board such that energy is electro-magnetically coupled from the first to the second conductive paths; circuit means for sequentially measuring the energy flowing in opposite directions along the second conductive path; and meter means for displaying the ratio of the measured energy. The test instrument further includes a circuit for measuring the transmitter's output power wherein the "loading" of the metering circuit on the transmitter is substantially reduced.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 1976Date of Patent: June 20, 1978Assignee: Rite Autotronics CorporationInventor: Edwin L. Schwartz

Patent number: 4085611Abstract: A recording compression testing meter having a measuring cylinder connected to the spark-plug hole of an engine cylinder by means of a tube and having an indicator arm movable by the piston of the measuring cylinder over a portion of recording paper fed from a roll of paper carried in a removable cartridge, the paper being fed from the roll by a drive mechanism carried by the cartridge so that tests of a large number of cylinders can be recorded on the continuous sheet of recording paper fed from the paper roll before it is necessary to reload the meter and the test of the cylinders of each engine can be torn off and stored separately.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1977Date of Patent: April 25, 1978Assignee: Rite Autotronics CorporationInventor: Edwin L. Schwartz

Patent number: 4048560Abstract: An electrical meter apparatus wherein the elements of construction of the meter are so constructed as to not warrant any significant amount of precision in manufacture. A selector knob is connected to a switch rotor with a switch rotor being mounted upon a panel bushing which is fixedly connected to the meter housing. A limited amount of canting movement is permitted along with the normal rotative movement between the switch rotor and the panel bushing. The switch rotor is connected in a non-precision manner with a socket and a plug. The plug is loose fittingly connected within an opening in the printed circuit board of the meter. A limited amount of canting movement of the plug is capable of occurring with respect to the printed circuit board.Type: GrantFiled: November 15, 1976Date of Patent: September 13, 1977Assignee: Rite Autotronics CorporationInventor: Edwin L.
