    Abstract: A light controlling heat collecting solar roof, the roof being formed of sheeting material of generally corrugated form, each corrugation having a generally planar upper surface with a generally planar lower surface at the bottom of the trough, the side walls connecting the upper and lower surfaces being transparent or translucent and one of these being generally vertical and facing the equator. Heat collecting tubes may be mounted on one or both of the generally planar surfaces.
