  • Patent number: 4908733
Abstract: A switch box for wall attachment with a box-like cabinet body having a rear wall and four side walls, the open side of which body can be closed by a cabinet cover or a cabinet door. Using thin starting materials for the cabinet body, an increase of stability, in addition to the possibility of further attachment locations, can be attained by attaching a mounting angle in each of four corner areas on the internal side of the rear wall. The legs of the mounting angle, provided with threaded mounts, are positioned in a plane parallel to the rear wall and spaced at a distance therefrom. At least one external longitudinal side of a leg is provided with a recess for fixing a support strip which is firmly screwed in the area of the open side of the cabinet body. At least one threaded mount of every mounting angle is accessible by a boring in the rear wall of the cabinet body.

  • Patent number: 4899900
Abstract: The invention relates to a switching box with a framework support formed from framework side units. The switching box is sealed by having a bottom wall, top wall, two side walls, and the open sides of which can be closed by means of a cabinet door and a rear wall, or by means of two cabinet doors. The framework side units form a hollow profile, which have identical series of holes on the two sides that stand perpendicular to one another and are oriented toward the internal space of the box. The framework side units have a protruding sealing bar on the side which toward the external side of the box. The costs of parts and labor necessary for assembly are reduced while retaining universal construction. At least one portion of the framework side units are formed by multiple bending in a single piece with the bottom wall, the top wall and/or the side walls plates.

  • Patent number: 4896905
Abstract: This invention is an improved switch cabinet latch of the type having a cabinet body and a cabinet door hinged to it with the door held in closed position by means of a push-rod lock on the cabinet door with push rods movable axially by rotational movement of an actuating element such that in the closed position closing ends on the push rods which face away from the push-rod lock reach behind closing faces mounted on the cabinet body while in the open position they move away from the closing faces. By virtue of the special configuration of the ends of the push rods and lock blocks mounted on the cabinet body, an improved clamping of the door to the cabinet body is achieved in combination with a hasp of the push-rod lock in the closed position. This clamping is initiated in forced sequence by two steps in the rotational movement of the actuating element of the push-rod lock.

  • Patent number: 4882911
Abstract: The invention relates to a cooling device having an evaporator, a blower with an outlet connecting piece, a condenser, and a compressor. A condensate collecting pan is positioned below the evaporator. The collected condensate water flows from the condensate collecting pan through a discharge pipe. In order for relatively large quantities of accumulating condensate water to be removed from the cooling device, the condensate water flows from the discharge pipe into a condensate collecting pan positioned below and downstream of an outlet connecting piece of the blower which discharges a warm air current. The warm air current of the blower flows to an outlet hole through an air channel which is connected to an outlet connecting piece of the blower.

  • Patent number: 4843519
Abstract: This invention relates to a switching panel with a desk-like casing part, the open upper side of which is provided with a peripheral sealing flange and which is inclined downwardly to its forward wall. The casing opening can be closed by a lid, which is supported in a hinged manner in the area of the upper, horizontal side of the casing opening. The lid has a peripheral rounded edge which in the closed position of the lid encloses the sealing flange and extends with the forward and edge sections of the lid over a portion of the forward wall of the casing part. The free end of the forward edge section is bent toward forward wall of the casing part. To avoid injury when closing the lid, the free end of the forward edge section is first bent inwardly at an acute angle forming a first handle section. The free end extends approximately to the free edges of the laterally adjacent edge sections.

  • Patent number: 4802863
Abstract: This invention concerns a device for establishing an electrically conductive connection between flat areas of two components which are made of metal with a substantially non-conductive coating and are held together by a nut and bolt through aligned boreholes. An electrically conductive connection with damaged areas on surfaces not visible from one side is made possible by various features, including: the borehole of the component beside the nut is enlarged to serve as a holding aperture; a claw retainer is permanently non-rotatably secured on the free side of the nut and rests with punch-cut claws of side legs on the side of the component which faces the nut; and the side legs of the claw retainer have U-shaped extensions passing through the holding aperture adjacent to the nut having additional punch-cut claws engaging the other component, which is away from the nut, on the side thereof which faces the component adjacent to the nut.
