Abstract: A method for annealing and galvanizing wires which comprises induction heating the wires in a first chamber at a first higher temperature to anneal the wires, cooling the wires to a second lower temperature in a second chamber and galvanizing the wires in a third chamber. The chambers are in serial communication and the heating, cooling and galvanizing steps are effected in an oxygen free atmosphere.
Abstract: A truncated right circular conical cage for trapping crustaceans comprises circumferential spaced fill wires converging from a circular base of the cage to a reduced diameter upper opening of the cage. Mutually spaced line wires encircle the cage and intersect the fill wires at cross over locations to thereby define discrete openings. The line wires are secured to the fill wires at the cross over locations, and are indented between the cross over locations to accommodate the convergence of the fill wires.
Abstract: A poultry breeder flooring system including a plurality of spaced apart and substantially parallel wire mesh channel defining beams, a wire mesh floor supported on the channel defining beams and a fastener mechanism interconnecting the floor and the channel defining means. The wire mesh floor and beam assembly provides an improved surface to space ratio which reduces dung collection and thereby enhances egg production.
