    Abstract: A bicycle brake system includes a disc mounted floatingly on a hub and a brake unit mounted floatingly on a fork. A mechanically actuated cam mechanism causes actuation of a first lining which presses against the disc compressing it, due to the above floating assembly, against a second line which remains fixed, thus causing the braking action.
