Patent number: 9523992Abstract: To prevent loss of controllability associated with the change in total target power value, and suppress power supply voltage fluctuation. An upper limit value calculation section 20 is provided, which adds a correction value Hn calculated by a correction value calculation section 19 to a sum total ?xn of target power values x1n to xMn calculated by a total target power value calculation section 18, so as to calculate a power upper limit value PLIM for every load, such that an appropriate power upper limit value PLIM may be obtained depending on variation of the sum total ?xn of target power values x1n to xMn.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2012Date of Patent: December 20, 2016Assignee: RKC INSTRUMENT INC.Inventors: Shigefumi Gotoh, Keisuke Akiho, Hirohisa Yoshikawa

Patent number: 8996140Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a multichannel power controller for limiting the number of channels with outputs therefrom simultaneously turned on and enabling power conditioning that makes the ratio of the “ON time” to the “ON+OFF time” for the output proportional to the input value, thus allowing the power capacity of the power plant to be set to the minimum required value, when a plurality of channels are subjected to time-sharing output control.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2010Date of Patent: March 31, 2015Assignee: RKC Instrument Inc.Inventors: Shigefumi Goto, Mitsugu Honda

Patent number: 5615106Abstract: In a control device, comprising a plurality of base components connected to one another in series by a composite signal line including a plurality of address signal lines, a control unit fitted onto one of said base components, and a plurality of controlled units adapted to be controlled by said control unit and each fitted onto a selected different one of the remaining base components, the control unit selects one of the address signal lines in the composite signal line, and produces an address signal thereon. The base components associated with the controlled units are provided with respective terminators each corresponding to one of the address signal lines, and these terminators are connected to the corresponding controlled units while the remaining address signal lines are simply passed on. Thereby, the addresses of controlled units are allowed to be automatically set up by the control unit.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 1995Date of Patent: March 25, 1997Assignee: RKC Instrument, Inc.Inventors: Tooru Yoshino, Akihiro Ishiwata, Eiji Miyamura

Patent number: 5490044Abstract: In a terminal assembly for electronic and electric equipment, the terminal member is formed into the shape of letter-C by being provided with a middle piece, and first and second arms extending from two opposite ends of the middle piece at an acute angle and at an obtuse angle, respectively. The first and second arms are fitted into a retaining window of a casing to secure the terminal member onto the casing. The first arm is reduced in thickness from its middle part toward its free end or is otherwise increased of its flexibility so as to form a spring portion. A terminal screw is threaded into the middle piece toward the first arm at an oblique angle. A connecting electrode of a circuit board received in the casing resiliently engages the spring portion of the terminal member.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 1995Date of Patent: February 6, 1996Assignee: RKC Instrument Inc.Inventors: Denzaburo Kobayashi, Toshiaki Asami
