  • Patent number: 10000960
Abstract: An operator for moving a barrier between closed and open positions mounted on, or close to, the counterbalance for said barrier. The operator is connected to the counterbalance shaft and lifts the barrier by rotating the counterbalance shaft with attached cable drums and thereby takes up cable connected to the bottom of the door. There is an upper cable connected to the top of the door through a cable drum in the operator. A power spring biases the operator cable drum to always take up the upper cable, keeping it wound. The operator cable drum is connected to the motor through a clutch which when engaged allows the operator to pull the door closed. While the door is closing the clutch can be disengaged to allow the operator cable drum to take up and then pay out the upper cable connected to the top of the door as needed.

  • Publication number: 20080091818
Abstract: A system and method are provided that employ web service applications to obtain up-to-date information from a plurality of distributed sources in substantially real-time over a network. The system includes web service applications that reside at a plurality of distributed devices. One or more client terminal devices submit data requests, which are broadcast over the network to the plurality of distributed devices. The web service applications receive data requests and authenticate the source of the data request. If authenticated, the web service applications analyze the data request and retrieve information corresponding to the data request from the distributed devices. The retrieved information is forwarded to associated servers and merged into up-to-date reports or other documents.

  • Patent number: 5617905
Abstract: A circular loom for the manufacture of tubular fabrics having an annular frame with an upper annular plate and a lower annular plate, both having bearing bores for vertically moving healds (heddles) guiding the warp threads of the hose to be manufactured. Said healds are arranged on the periphery of said frame and are mounted on at least one continuous circular path such that they may be individually vertically displaced. For this purpose, the lower ends of the healds arranged in each circular path have cam following rollers running on a rotary driven cam-like control ring. More than one set of healds (with corresponding rotary driven control rings) along additional circular paths may be used.

  • Patent number: 5221145
Abstract: This linear bearing comprises travel circuits for balls (3) which are held by needles (2). Each circuit is formed of passages constituting the longitudinal portions of the circuit and developed in two adjacent modules, these passages being connected at their ends by curved portions. The adjacent modules have resting faces which make it possible to arrange them side by side. A protruding part (23) is introduced into a longitudinal window (6) dimensioned to receive also a needle (2) which is arranged in the cutouts (44 and 45). On the one hand, the needle maintains the balls in their travel circuit and, on the other hand, it holds the modules together. The modules are obtained by injection in a mold having a single slide operating in a single direction while the balls and needles are parts of known type.
