    Abstract: A storage system for wheeled trailer frames includes a staircase-like support rack. Frames are stacked horizontally with their front ends supported by the rack and with their rear wheels nested. Trailer frames are lifted and stacked by means of a traveling overhead yard crane provided with a lifting attachment or by means of a forklift truck provided with a lifting attachment slidingly engaged by its tines.
