Abstract: User credit card data or smart chip data or Near Field Communication data is easily transferred from a card reader to a host device via a matrix bar code such as a Quick Response (QR) code. Data transfer is performed by converting the card data into matrix bar code and allowing the host device to take an image and process the image to obtain the card data. Card reader will convert magnetic signal/smart chip/NFC data into machine readable form and then convert it into matrix bar code to be consumed by a device that is capable of capturing the matrix bar code. The card reader has the ability to encrypt the data before converting it into a matrix bar code.

Abstract: A system for a secure cardholder and storage device includes a mobile communication device and a secure card transporter (SCT). The SCT includes a Near Field Communication (NFC) chip, a microprocessor, a magnetic stripe card reader, a contact chip card reader, a contactless card reader, an audio jack interface and a micro-USB interface. The SCT interfaces with the mobile communication device via the audio jack interface or the micro-USB interface, and the SCT captures payment card data and transmits the captured payment card data to a merchant point of sale (POS) checkout system both in the physical and virtual environments. The system provides convenient buying experience for buyers, and secure and informative transaction for sellers.

Abstract: A method for incorporating one-time-tokens, coupon and reward systems in conjunction with merchants' POS checkout systems in the physical or virtual environments includes providing a consumer computing device comprising an electronic wallet application, providing a One-time Token Redemption System(OTRS) and user electronic wallet accounts, logging into a user electronic wallet account through the electronic wallet application, sending a request for a one-time token valid for a specified time interval and then forwarding the request for the one-time token to the OTRS and upon approval sending the requested one-time token from the OTRS to the electronic wallet application. Next, presenting and entering the one-time token into a merchant point of sale checkout system within the specified time interval via the consumer computing device, sending the entered one-time token to a checkout application, and then processing payment via a secure payment application.

Abstract: A system for developing rich internet applications (RIAs) for remote computing devices that utilize a certifying player to invoke server-side web services through a single, secure, certifying intermediary server, includes an integrated development environment (IDE). The IDE includes a toolbox comprising graphical components configured to be dragged and dropped into UI states implementing the RIA process flow and a Web Service Description Language (WSDL) integrator for generating web service call for accessing web services for processing input from the UI states and generating an output result.

Abstract: A commerce checkout and customer data capture system for merchants to deliver commerce functionalities to consumer computing devices for completing purchase and payment transactions includes a commerce application and a commerce gateway server comprising a checkout application and a secure payment application. A plurality of merchants are configured to provide product offers to the consumer computing device via the commerce application, to process purchase transactions with the checkout application, and to receive payments via the secure payment application. The checkout application provides responses to purchase transaction requests including “CreateCheckout” for setting up and capturing purchase transaction data, and consumer related data, “Checkout” for calling a checkout transaction user interface, and “GetCheckoutStatus” for checking status of a checkout transaction.

The plurality of merchants provide product offers to the consumer computing device via the commerce application and receive payments via the secure payment application. The commerce application comprises a plurality of commerce offer managers and each commerce offer manager is associated with a specific merchant and comprises a commerce offer application that presents product offers for sale by the specific merchant.

Abstract: A system and a method of playing rich internet applications on remote computing devices by using a certifying player to invoke server-side web services through a single, secure, certifying intermediary server. The application player resides in the remote computing device and is configured to be executed by the remote computing device. The intermediary server is configured to communicate with the remote computing device via a network connection and to receive message requests from the application player and to send message responses to the application player. The intermediary server provides access of the RIA to the remote computing device by accessing an application server, where the RIA resides, via a single, secure and access-controlled network connection. The application player requests functionality of the RIA from the intermediary server via message requests and interprets the message responses received from the intermediary server.
