Patents Assigned to Robert A. Bennett
  • Patent number: 5325998
Abstract: A pressurized inverted dispenser utilizes a hollow vertically elongated body having a lower end with an aperture, an upper end, a flat vertical cover and a front curved wall with a button receiving opening. The front wall, the cover, the upper end and the lower end are sealed together. The inside surface of the cover carries a connector support. A button is disposed in the opening which is slidably movable toward and away from the rear wall between depressed and extended positions. A horizontally elongated connector secured to the rear surface of the button and slidably engages the connector support. The button slidably supports a horizontal leg of a spring which also has a vertical end leg aligned with the aperture, and a U shaped central section disposed between and secured to the first and second legs.

  • Patent number: 4241854
Abstract: A horizontal diaphragm with a central recess has a downwardly extending peripheral lip engaging the periphery of an open neck of a container of fluid. A vertical hollow tubular element in the neck has an upper section disposed below the diaphragm and engaging the neck periphery. The section wall defines an inverted truncated cone with spaced longitudinally extending slots. A lower section has an upper opening coincident with the lower cone end and a lower opening extending into the container below the liquid level. A vertical bore in the element has a first constriction which passes liquid disposed in the lower section. The bore wall contains a vertical cylindrical recess communicating at its top end with the cone interior. A vertical tube extends through a central hole in the diaphragm. The tube is slidable in said recess and has a second constriction interiorly disposed intermediate its ends. The tube interior is connected by conduits to the concave recess.

  • Patent number: 4003110
Abstract: The hook sheet of a separable hook-and-loop area fastener is formed by weaving, looping or otherwise engaging with a backing sheet a continuous plastic filament, preferably of nylon or the like, which has been permanently crimped into a zig-zagged sawtooth configuration by passing the same between a pair of rotating oppositely sawtoothed forming rolls. The continuous plastic filament loops are preferably formed in a plurality of aligned rows so that a plurality of loops may be engaged by a common elongated knife edge and simultaneously cut. The loops preferably are large enough and the sawtooth formations small enough so that a plurality of sawteeth are provided in each loop. When cut, the zig-zag sawtooth monofilaments stand up perpendicular to the sheet support, and are provided with a plurality of hook-like formations. A loop pile sheet for engagement with the hook sheet may be conventional.
