  • Patent number: 4783917
Abstract: A bracelet assembly for carrying identification information. The bracelet assembly has an elongated flexible band with fastening means for fastening the band in a closed loop fashion around a patient's limb. There is a transparent portion on the flexible band through which the user can read the identification information. A permanently deformable layer is interposed between the transparent portion and a base layer. The base layer and permanently deformable layer are of contrasting colors. The permanently deformable layer is deformed by lines of force applied by mechanical pressure means such as a typewriter or credit card imprinter which deforms the deformable layer along the lines of force which correspond to the identification information. This renders the base layer visible through both the transparent portion and the permanently deformable layer along the lines of pressure.

  • Patent number: 4204596
Abstract: A one-piece, integrally molded plastic carrier adapted for supporting a plurality of bottles (such as beverage bottles) in a space envelope which is essentially the same as that space previously utilized by cardboard cartons. In an embodiment for carrying six bottles, a pair of non-planar handle supports extend upwardly from the base, with each of the supports resting in the central space between groupings of four bottles that are arranged to form a "square". The handle supports may be generally cylindrical or T-shaped, or a combination thereof; but in any case they are non-planar. The moment of inertia of the handle supports is high, so that the stiffness of the carrier is correspondingly high. A substantial slot is provided in the base between the two handle supports, and the slot is sized so that two bottle carriers may be nested together--with the handle of one carrier passing through the slot and into the bottom of another carrier.

  • Patent number: 4150443
Abstract: A sports goggle provided with power means in the form of a miniature electrical fan mounted within the air space defined by the goggle and the face of the wearer when the goggle is in place. The fan is selectively actuatable by the wearer of the goggle to draw the warm humid air within the air space into the fan, to compress the same therein, and to circulate the same throughout the air space to prevent condensation build-up on the inner surface of the lens structure of the goggle and on eyeglasses of the wearer of the goggle. The fan also urges the circulated warm humid air outwardly of the goggle through air passages provided in the shell of the goggle so that ambient air may enter the goggle to replace the forced out air without admitting snow or other precipitation from the ambient.
