  • Patent number: 5316641
Abstract: An internal corrosion prevention anode device and method for retrofitting an existing fuel storage tank of the type having one or more low points, includes inserting an anode through an opening formed in the top of the tank. The anode is formed having a rounded shape so that it will roll to a low point in the storage tank. An elongated electrical conductor is attached to the anode, which conductor has a sufficient length for extending from the top to the bottom of the inside of the tank and has sufficient flexibility to permit the anode to roll to a low point in the tank. A cap closes the opening in the top of the tank and electrically connects the elongated conductor from the anode to the top of the storage tank.

  • Patent number: 4709924
Abstract: An adjustable batting tee is provided which includes a first plate member shaped like home plate, a second plate member spaced apart from the first plate member and an elongated armature adjustably interconnecting the first and second plate members such that the relative position of the second plate member with respect to the first plate member can be selectively adjusted. An upright ball support member is attached to the second plate member for supporting a ball to be hit that includes telescoping post members which permit the height of the ball to be selectively adjusted. The armature and uppermost post are flexible so as to absorb the forces generated by the user hitting the ball or ball support member.

  • Patent number: 4533138
Abstract: A multiple sport training device which includes a stabilizing base and a vertical support. A vertically adjustable carriage is positioned on the vertical support. Connecting members extend from opposite sides of the carriage for reception of attachment members which are used for sports skills training purposes. The attachment members are rotatable around a horizontal axis so that their vertical attitude may be adjusted. Batting training devices, ball rebounders, catching nets, and batting tees comprise some of the attachment members. Additionally, the vertical support is foldable against the stabilizing base for easy storage and transport wheels are insertable into one of the connecting members to allow easy movement of the device when tilted on its side.
