Abstract: A transfer terminal is shown for off-loading dry, flowable, granular material from large transportation vehicles such as trucks or barges to smaller transport trucks. A pouch within a tank is provided for receiving the material, which material is distributed to storage silos. A single elevator is used to load the pouch and all storage silos. By aeration of the materials, a very low angle of repose is created for the material, which allows the material to flow at a very low angle, both to and from the various silos. Material being loaded into a transport truck flows through the pouch.
