    Abstract: A body member is detachably engageable with the brim of a liquid carrying container and includes an annular ledge which sealingly resides over the gutter of the brim. The ledge has an upstanding outer peripheral rim which redirects fluid into the container. A screen filters fluid passing from the container to a pouring spout extending radially from the ledge. A hingedly affixed closure member sealingly engages the body member for airtight storage of the liquid.
