Abstract: An abseiling device for braking a load (16) that is suspended on a rope (14) and may be fastened to the abseiling device (10), with which the rope (14) passes through the abseiling device (10) and is frictionally guided along a section (22), at least one portion of the section (22) being guided by a part (25) of the abseiling device (10) that is movable out of an unloaded starting position relative to a housing (12) of the abseiling device; when a load is suspended, the part (25) generates a frictional force that is a function of the weight of the load (16).
Abstract: In a pressure switch with a housing in which a plunger element is located that is movable against a spring force of a first elastic element—contacts being located directly or indirectly on the plunger element, and the first elastic element being located on the side of the plunger element facing toward or away from the media connection—a second elastic element is provided, against the spring force of which the plunger element can be moved. As a result, the pressure switch can be used for pressures>200 bar in situations where overall dimensions are small.
Abstract: A pressure switch assembly includes an electric switch which is actuated in response to a preselected pressure in a pressure line. The assembly includes an activating rod which is engageable with the electric switch. The activating is acted upon by opposing forces from the pressure and a spring. The spring bears against a stop ring which is threadedly mounted so as to be displaceable in order to adjust the spring force. The stop ring is rotated by rotating a cover portion of the switch housing, the cover being connected to the stop ring. Thereafter, the cover is locked against rotation.
