  • Patent number: 11761170
Abstract: An apparatus for facilitating bucket movement of a material handling machine includes a joystick biased to a neutral position, movable away from the neutral position in a first direction along an axis to a first position, and movable away from the neutral position in a second direction along the axis, opposite the first direction, to a second position. The apparatus further includes an operator input movable from a disengaged position to an engaged position in which a bucket of the material handling machine is configured to automatically move in an oscillatory motion. When the operator input is in the engaged position, an intensity of the oscillation is dependent upon a position of the joystick along the axis, decreasing along the axis from the first position to the second position.

  • Patent number: 11763681
Abstract: The present invention proposes an ECU and a lane departure warning system capable of improving safety of all traveling vehicles including a host vehicle by using an environment sensor to warn another vehicle about departure of the other vehicle from a lane. An ECU (13) detects the departure from the lane. The ECU (13) determines whether another vehicle (100) leaves the lane on the basis of a detection signal from an environment sensor (11), and visually or aurally warns the other vehicle (100) in the case where the other vehicle (100) leaves the lane.

  • Patent number: 11764695
Abstract: The present invention relates to a circuit arrangement and to an actuating method for a DC voltage converter, in particular a DC voltage converter with phase-shifted full-bridge topology, wherein power can also be transmitted from the primary side to the secondary side when the electrical voltage on the primary side undershoots the product of the electrical voltage on the secondary side and the transmission ratio of a transformer in the DC voltage converter. In this way, for example, a capacitor on the primary side of the DC voltage converter can be discharged to a safe, low voltage level.

  • Patent number: 11762346
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for creating a control process for a technical system using a Bayesian optimization method, the control process being created and executable based on model parameters of a control model, the following steps being performed in order to optimize the control process: furnishing a quality function that corresponds to a trainable regression function, and that assesses a quality of a control process of the technical system based on model parameters; executing a Bayesian optimization method based on the quality function in order to iteratively ascertain an optimized model parameter set having model parameters, such that during execution of the Bayesian optimization method, a model parameter domain that indicates the permissible value ranges for the model parameters is expanded, by an amount equal to an expansion distance, with respect to those dimensions for which the model parameter ascertained in the current iteration lies at a range boundary.

  • Patent number: 11764680
Abstract: The invention relates to enhanced adjusting of the control variables for a DC-DC converter comprising multiple DC-DC converter modules (30-1, 30-2). For this purpose, alongside the conventional controlling of the individual DC-DC converter modules, an additional correction variable (K-1, K-2) is determined which can be added to the control variable (R4-1, R4-2). In particular, the correction variable can take into account individual properties of the DC-DC converter modules, such as component tolerances or similar. For this purpose, correction values suitable for the individual DC-DC converter modules can be determined in advance and stored in a non-volatile storage means. Using these previously stored links, the control variables for the individual DC-DC converter modules can be individually adjusted.

  • Patent number: 11752951
Abstract: A virtual visor system is disclosed that includes a visor having a plurality of independently operable pixels that are selectively operated with a variable opacity. A camera captures images of the face of a driver or other passenger and, based on the captured images, a controller operates the visor to automatically and selectively darken a limited portion thereof to block the sun or other illumination source from striking the eyes of the driver, while leaving the remainder of the visor transparent. The virtual visor system advantageously detects whether the driver of other passenger is performing particular head gestures and updates the optical state of the visor using suitable modified procedures that accommodate the intent or goals of the driver or other passenger that are inferred from the predefined head gesture. In general, the modified procedures reduce distracting or frustrating updates to the optical state of the visor.

  • Patent number: 11754097
Abstract: An electrohydraulic system includes an output shaft, a hydraulic piston, and a preload device. The output shaft rotationally drives the valve and extends along a first axis. The hydraulic piston extends along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis, is actuated by a pressure medium, and rotates the output shaft. The preload device stores energy via preloading of an elastic element, which extends along a third axis, by a hydraulic cylinder and to transmit the energy to the output shaft in the event of a fault. The hydraulic piston is guided into first and second cylinder housings, and at least one of the cylinder housings is connected to the hydraulic cylinder. A check valve is arranged between the cylinder housing and the hydraulic cylinder, and is configured to decouple the preload device from the hydraulic piston, the blocking direction going from the hydraulic cylinder to the cylinder housing.
