Abstract: A coupling assembly has two coupling elements arranged to interlock in a coupled position and release in a release position. A displaceable securing element on one of the coupling elements engages and holds the other coupling element in the coupled position, the securing element being biassed into such engagement. When the coupling elements are being coupled to each other, the securing element is displaced against the bias to enable movement of the coupling elements to the interlocking coupled position. When the coupling elements reach the coupled position, the securing element is displaced automatically under the bias to the engaging position to prevent unintentional release of the coupling elements from the coupled position.
Abstract: A motor vehicle assembly, in particular a semi-trailer truck, with two partial vehicles and a plurality of supply lines between the two partial vehicles is proposed, where each of the supply lines has a line coupling with a line coupling half on the tractor side and a line coupling with a line coupling half on the trailer side.
Abstract: In the case of an articulated train, there is between the two partial vehicles, that is to say the tractor vehicle (10) and the trailer vehicle (22), a supply coupling (32, 54) which closes automatically when the two partial vehicles are coupled together and opens automatically when the two partial vehicles are separated from each other (FIG. 1).
Abstract: A mounting for the draw rod of the coupling body of a trailer coupling is proposed. The draw rod passes through a cross-piece bore of a cross-piece fast with the towing vehicle. The cross-section of the draw rod at the passage through the cross-piece bore corresponds to the cross-section of the cross-piece bore. A bearing tube secured to the cross-piece for the guidance of the draw rod extends from the cross-piece only in the direction pointing away from the coupling body. Between the end of the draw rod remote from the cross-piece and the end of the bearing tube remote from the cross-piece a support acting in both force directions is provided, that is to say a support for traction force transmission and a support for thrust force transmission. In the solution according to the invention the cross-section of the draw rod can be enlarged compared with conventional forms of embodiment.
Abstract: In a trailer coupling having two independently effective securing arrangements, of which the one is formed by an opener lever and the other by a securing bolt, the opener lever engages in an upwardly partially open slot of the coupling bolt and is reinforced by a disengaging cam which emerges upwards from the slot and co-operates with the securing bolt in the direction of its disengagement.
Abstract: A trailer coupling is proposed which, after transference of the coupling bolt into the non-coupling position, is insensitive to small relative movements of the towing eye, still situated in the coupling body, in relation to the coupling body, that is to say does not drop back into the coupling position, and in which, on the other hand, the coupling bolt can be caused by the entry of the towing eye to return into the coupling position, without a repeated manual action upon the automatic coupling system being necessary.
