  • Patent number: 11581152
Abstract: A reversible fuse support block includes a molding, a terminal, and a fuser interface. The molding may be installed within a housing in a first position and a second position, wherein the second position is rotated 180 degrees relative to the first position. The terminal couples to the molding and includes a plurality of apertures disposed in a pattern. The fuse interface receives a first end of a fuse. The fuse interface couples to the terminal in a first arrangement and a second arrangement such that when the fuse interface is installed in the first arrangement and the molding is installed in the first position, the fuse interface is disposed in substantially the same position relative to a corresponding fuse interface on a fuse support block as when the fuse interface is installed in the second arrangement and the molding is installed in the second position.

  • Patent number: 11581838
Abstract: A system for wirelessly transmitting power between a track and independent movers in a motion control system includes a pick-up coil provided proximate to the magnets on the movers. The fundamental component of the voltage applied to the drive coils interacts primarily with the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnets on the movers and not with the pick-up coil. Consequently, the pick-up coil does not interfere with desired operation of the movers but rather, interacts primarily with the harmonic components and has current and voltages induced within the pick-up coil as a result of the harmonic components. The energy captured by the pick-up coil reduces the amplitude of eddy currents on the mover. After harvesting the harmonic content, the pick-up coil may be connected to another circuit on the mover and serve as a supply voltage for the other circuit.

  • Patent number: 11575571
Abstract: A model-based industrial security policy configuration system implements a plant-wide industrial asset security policy in accordance with security policy definitions provided by a user. The configuration system models the collection of industrial assets for which diverse security policies are to be implemented. An interface allows the user to define zone-specific security configuration and event management policies for a plant environment at a high-level based on a security model that groups the industrial assets into security zones. Based on the model and these policy definitions, the system generates asset-level security setting instructions configured to set appropriate device settings on one or more of the industrial assets to implement the security event management policies, and deploys these instructions to the appropriate assets in order to implement the defined policies.

  • Patent number: 11567737
Abstract: An industrial IDE supports development of control programming using an industrial domain-specific language (DSL) that allows control programming to be written using a scripted programming language having features catered to the industrial domain. The industrial DSL can simplify and streamline development of industrial control code relative to using conventional graphics-based control programming formats such as ladder logic, since a script-based industrial DSL can be used to write programming code using fewer mouse clicks relative to traditional control programming environments. Editing tools inherent to the industrial DSL can provide dynamic programming feedback that guides the developer through the process of developing control code. A development interface of the industrial IDE can comprises two editing windows that render the control program in a graphical format and in a text-based format simultaneously, allowing the user to edit the program in either format on the same interface.

  • Patent number: 11568110
Abstract: An industrial CAD system is supplemented with features that allow a developer to easily convert a mechanical CAD model of an automation system to a dynamic digital twin capable of simulation within a simulation platform, including simulation of fluid dynamics throughout the system. The features allow the user to label selected elements of a mechanical CAD drawing with “aspects” within the CAD environment, and to add fluid models representing fluids that travel through or are processed by the system. Based on these aspect labels and fluid models, the CAD platform transforms the mechanical CAD model into a dynamic digital twin that can be exported to a simulation and testing platform to facilitate simulation of both machine operation and fluid dynamics.

  • Patent number: 11567783
Abstract: A data pipeline configuration system allows industrial data pipelines to be configured using an intuitive visual interface. The pipeline configuration system allows graphical pipeline components representing data sources, data processing, analytic or machine learning models, and emitters to be selectively added to an industrial data pipeline application by selecting these components from a library. The pipeline configuration application is created by arranging and linking these selected pipeline components within a pipeline builder section of the configuration system's visual design interface. The design interface also allows analytic or machine learning models to be easily integrated into the pipeline application and mapped to incoming data items, such that the model is applied and scored against incoming data during pipeline operation.

  • Patent number: 11561533
Abstract: To facilitate the commissioning of network identifiers (network IDs), an ordered list comprising network ID's associated with devices of an industrial automation process may be generated and stored. Based at least on the ordered list, a network ID may be identified. A prompt may be generated and displayed, the prompt comprising a notification to power-off one or more devices. Another prompt may be generated and displayed, the prompt comprising a notification to power-on a single device of the industrial automation process. In response to receiving a network-identifier request from the single device, a device identifier may be identified for the single device and stored in a list. A response comprising the network ID and a command to change the assignment mode of the device is autonomously generated and transmitted to the single device, which subsequently stores the network ID changes its mode.

  • Patent number: 11555855
Abstract: A control system may include a processor that may receive a first dataset associated with power properties of a rotating load device coupled to a relay device. The processor may also determine frequency properties based on the power properties and determine a switching profile to control moving a first armature of three armatures in the relay device based on the frequency properties. The switching profile is configured to control movement of the first armature between a first position and a second position, and wherein the switching profile comprises a firing angle for moving the first armature with respect to an electrical waveform, a second armature, and a third armature. The processor may then control a current provided to a relay coil of the relay device based on the switching profile, such that the relay coil causes the first armature to move.
