  • Patent number: 4986030
Abstract: A device which includes two matching sections (7, 8), with a first section (7) designed to be fastened to the bottom of a window (6) and the second section (8) arranged to be articulated on an arm (3) of a window raiser. The cross-sections of these sections are such that the first section (7) can be locked into the second section (8) by snapping and a result of a displacement lying substantially in the general plane of the window (6) and of the movement of the latter. The matching cross-sections of the two sections (7, 8) provide a degree of rotation and a degree of translational motion between the two sections. This device makes it possible to carry out the installation of windows on window raisers automatically by robot on motor-vehicle assembly lines because of the simplification of the necessary movements.

  • Patent number: 4940926
Abstract: The generator comprises means (2) for adjusting and an associated calculator, the adjusting means (2) comprising an endless rotative knob (4) capable of rotating through a given angle of which the position of the element to be controlled is a direct function, and pulse generating means (15, 17) generating a number of pulses which is proportional to the angle of rotation of the knob (4) and means for counting said number, and a selector of the direction of rotation. The calculator is programmed to determine, from the number of pulses counted, a proportion of the path the movable element must travel through realtive to end-of-travel means. The instruction determined by the calculator is then transmitted to a motor driving the movable element and to a position copying device. The invention permits obtaining a fine continuous, or substantially continuous, adjustment by a simple rotation of the knob. • Patent number: 4904013
Abstract: Movable sun visor (10) which is supported in a carriage shape via front and rear pair of bearing points (12, 13) in lateral guide grooves. The length and the curvature pattern of the guide grooves is selected such that the sun visor (10) can be rapidly transferred from the out-of-use position to the in-use position. However, a shock effect on the drive can be caused thereby. It is therefore proposed that the guide curve for the front pair of bearing points (12) has an S-shaped course, the guide curve has a convex curvature in the first path segments and a concave curvature in the last path segments, and the guide curve for the rear pair of bearing points (13) has a convex curvature over the entire length of the curve.
