Abstract: A wrist watch in which only a lower case portion is provided, onto which a watch glass is pressed. The watch glass is formed of two discs, one positioned on the other. Two discs are glued to each other and are assembled to form steps therebetween. The watch strap has two end portions provided with projections engaged in the above steps of the watch glass.
Abstract: An articulated watch band provided with a catch mechanism interconnected by hinge joints is disclosed. One catch part is formed with a recess and the other part is formed with an extension snugly fitting the recess. To secure the extension in position within the recess, the extension is provided at its lower side with a stop plate and at its upper side with a movable arresting plate corresponding in shape to the outline of the extension, so that upon angular displacement of the upper plate or upon shifting the same in longitudinal direction of the strap, the plate overlaps the rims of the recess in the receiving catch part and prevents the displacement of the extension in vertical direction relative to its upper surface. Hinge joints of the strap include hinge tubes which are secured to the associated links or catch parts by laser-beam welding.
Abstract: A wrist watch, particularly a water-tight wrist watch, has upper and lower housing parts, a watch mechanism received in the lower housing part, a watch glass, a dial member, a spacer member, and an elastic element in the lower housing part arranged so that the upper housing part presses the watch mechanism via the watch glass, the spacer member and the dial member against the elastic element. The upper housing part has a collar extending over the spacer member and lying on a step portion of the watch glass.
Abstract: An adjustable deployment band comprising two watch band halves and a foldable closure member including a lower closure part to which one of the watch band halves is adjustably connected, an upper closure part to which one end of the other watch band is connected, and a folding part connecting the upper and the lower closure part for movement between an open and a closed position in which the closure parts interengage superimposed with each other to form a closed very shallow housing in which one end portion of the one watch band half and the folding part and the fastening member are located.
