    Abstract: Chronic pain is treated with a combination of a standard dose of a non-narcotic analgesic and a low dose of a tricyclic antidepressant compound. The invention is effective in the treatment of chronic pain associated with neuropathic or fibromuscular disorders, where such pain has been unresponsive to non-narcotic analgesics alone.
