Abstract: Apparatuses and systems are disclosed for movable sensing for stringed instruments. A string selector module selects one or more strings of a stringed instrument in response to a user of the stringed instrument positioning at least a portion of the string selector module over the one or more selected strings. The stringed instrument includes a plurality of strings, and the plurality of strings includes the one or more selected strings and one or more unselected strings. A sensor module produces an electrical signal in response to vibration of the one or more selected strings.
