    Abstract: A method and apparatus for aligning a door jamb relative to a door frame and securing the jamb to the frame. A pair of frame members are secured to the hinge and knob sides of a door frame and a pair of jamb members are secured to the hinge and knob sides of a door jamb. Each frame member has a plate portion and a flange portion having a plurality of slots therethrough. Each jamb member has a plate portion and a flange portion having a plurality of threaded passages therethrough. The door jamb is positioned relative to the door frame so that the respective flange portions are adjacent to each other and the slots and threaded passages are aligned. A plurality of threaded bolts are thereafter inserted into the slots and threaded passages in substantially parallel alignment with the adjacent jamb member and the frame member plate portions, the door jamb is selectively positioned relative to the door frame, and the bolts are tightened. Cap members may thereafter be secured to adjacent frame and jamb members.
