Publication number: 20160117319Abstract: A method for data interchange includes summing up data associated with an electronic document to provide summed up data, representing the summed up data as one or more bar codes, and returning the one or more bar codes for display and data capture via a bar code scan from either a video display or a printed version of the one or more bar codes. The electronic document may be of any number of formats. The summing up may include taking data from multiple information fields to create the summed up data. The data may include data tags or a step of adding data tags to the data to assist in data interchange may be performed.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 8, 2013Publication date: April 28, 2016Applicant: ROELESIS WIRELESS LLCInventors: David M. Snyder, Bruce D. Melick, Leslie D. Baych, Paul R. Staman, Nicholas J. Peters, Gregory P. Probst

Patent number: 9047586Abstract: A method of tagged bar code data interchange includes creating electronic and/or printed documents with tagged bar coded information, capturing and decoding the tagged bar coded information, caching the tagged bar coded information, parsing the bar coded data tags, stripping the data tags, and inputting/storing the bar coded information. Business can be conducted on-line using e-mail transmissions of video displayed tagged bar coded information. Such tagged bar coded information can be stored and/or input into style sheets that are in common or company-specific formats. Further, companies can receive consumer information in a format that is easily accessible by any portion, affiliate, subsidiary, or related entity of the company, no matter what software system is running.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2012Date of Patent: June 2, 2015Assignee: Roelesis Wireless LLCInventors: Bruce D. Patent number: 7934641Abstract: A new method and system for bar code data interchange includes a bar code scanner, such as a high scan rate LED scanner, and reads bar coded information from a video display. This bar coded information is scanned from the video display into a host device. The bar coded information may be sent to a user in a variety of ways, including over the Internet, any intranet, or any type of telephony network. The bar coded information may be viewed by the user on the video display as part of an e-mail message, as displayed on a web-page, or as displayed on television programming. The scanned bar coded information is decoded and may then be used. A first software program may have been used to create the bar coded information, and a second and distinct software application may be used with the now decoded bar coded information.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2009Date of Patent: May 3, 2011Assignee: Roelesis Wireless LLCInventors: Bruce D.
