Abstract: The invention relates to a conga drum stand comprising a supporting ring, away from which extend upwards at least three holding attachments having a concavely curved inside surface for receiving the conga drum and away from which extend downwards stand legs, in which the radius of curvature R1 of the concavely curved inside of the holding attachments is greater than the radius of curvature R2 of the supporting ring or of the conga drum to be received.

Abstract: In a stand for musical instruments arranged in pairs, in particular bongos or the like, wherein the instruments are connected by a vertical link that is fixable in a mounting clamp, which is disposed on a vertical stand, provision is made for the mounting clamp to have a configuration that is U-shaped in cross section, wherein one leg of the U is divided and incorporates an upper section that is supported pivotable relative to a lower section, wherein the upper section incorporates an offset extending downward over the pivot bearing incorporating a threaded bore into which engages a set screw that is supported on the exterior of the lower section when tightened and in this manner pivots the upper section inward, pressing it against the link to be fixed that connects the bongos.

Abstract: In a conga stand comprising a holding ring for insertion of the conga or the like, also holding projections resting laterally against the conga, as well as legs connected to the holding ring, each leg being implemented height-adjustable in such a way that it consists of at least two sections that are curved or angled about their longitudinal direction so that they are displaceable relative to each other in a telescopic manner, wherein each section has a plurality of bores in the longitudinal direction, and wherein locking screws are provided that extend through two bores in each case while setting a specified length, wherein the lower bore in each case is implemented as a threaded bore, or the screws extend through the bores in such a way that a lock nut can be placed on the inner end, provision is made for the bores of at least one section to be connected by a longitudinal slot, the width of which corresponds approximately to the diameter of the threaded section of the screws.

With a view to simple assembly and disassembly of the conga stand accompanied with excellent stableness on the ground and the possibility of use for congas of varying size, it is provided that the apertures of the holding ring are open towards the lateral edges thereof for insertion of the fixing screws from a lateral edge of the holding ring.

The elevations (6) and indentations (7) extending in the circumferential direction are disposed at a distance R2 from the outer edge (3) of the main body (1′). This waviness allows the compressed air to escape when the upper and lower cymbal are struck together when they are played. A retarding air cushion does not form and a clear, hard sound is generated.

Abstract: In a percussion instrument, for example in the form of a tambourine, of bongos, congas or the like, with a resonance body open in particular on top, a skin being stretched over the upper opening and comprising a plastic film which is fixed at a constant tension by means of a clamping hoop, the skin being stretched directly over the resonance body, and the resonance body having an annular groove in the vicinity of the upper opening, and the clamping hoop being elastically widened and forced over the upper side of the resonance body into the annular groove, thus stretching the skin, it is provided that at least one nonwoven fabric is disposed in parallel to the at least one plastic film, the nonwoven also being stretched by the clamping hoop and not being joined to the plastic film by gluing.
