    Abstract: The present invention relates to spectacles comprising a spectacle frame and a spectacle glass. The spectacle frame, in turn, comprises a frame which defines a receiving opening for the spectacle glass and essentially completely borders the spectacle glass. The spectacle glass is fixed in the receiving opening by means of a thread inserted between the frame defining the receiving opening and the edge of the spectacle glass.
