Abstract: A cable transportation system bogie extends along a longitudinal axis and has a main frame defining a supporting surface; a platform configured to support at least one car; and an articulated mechanism connected to the main frame and the platform, and configured to transmit pulling force between the main frame and the platform, and to permit movement of the platform with respect to the main frame in any direction.

Abstract: A cable transportation system has rails and a draw cable, both extending along a transportation path, a drive member for driving the draw cable; at least one vehicle, which moves along the transportation path and has wheels which roll along the rails, and a coupling device for connecting the vehicle to the draw cable, at least one passenger station where the vehicle is stopped and an electric machine located on the vehicle and driven by the wheels to generate electric power.
Abstract: A passenger transportation system having at least one rail extending along a path; at least one trolley movable along the rail; an actuating device having a linear electric motor, in turn having at least one slide fitted to the trolley, and a linear stator extending at least partly along the path, and having an elongated body, and a quantity of power windings embedded in the elongated body; and a quantity of sensors configured to control the position of the trolley, the sensors being fitted to the elongated body and so positioned as to minimize noise generated by the power windings on the sensors.
Abstract: A cable transportation system has a pull cable; at least one transportation unit moving along a given path and connectable selectively to the pull cable by a coupling device; at least one passenger station where the transportation unit is detached from the pull cable; and an auxiliary drive device having a linear electric motor extending along a portion of the given path to move the transportation unit along the passenger station.
Abstract: A cable transportation system switch having a first straight rail; a second straight rail forming an angle of more than 0° and less than 45° with the first straight rail; and a third straight rail located between the first and second straight rail and movable selectively between a first operating position, in which the third straight rail contacts the first straight rail and is parallel to the second straight rail, and a second operating position, in which the third straight rail contacts the second straight rail and is parallel to the first straight rail.
