Patents Assigned to Rolling Razor, Inc.
  • Publication number: 20230101621
Abstract: A shaving razor with an angled wash through channel. A razor blade is sandwiched between a base member and a blade cover. The based member is unitarily molded to include an integral blade guard that resides ahead of a cutting edge of the razor blade in a cutting direction, the base member also defines a wash through channel opening at an angle in the range of 30-70 degrees.

  • Patent number: 11541560
Abstract: A precision shaving razor with low cost assembly. A bridge is unitarily molded having a leading platform, a handle attachment mechanism and first and a second cross member each molded to extend substantially perpendicularly to the leading platform. A plurality of base members is each unitarily molded to have a first peg and a second peg for attachment to the cross pieces. A plurality of blade covers each unitarily molded. A razor blade is sandwiched between each blade cover-base pair. In some instances, the blade covers are molded to have hard stops to facilitate precise blade position. In some cases, the bases define angular wash through channels and blade guards spaced to facilitate wash through. In some cases, the skin contacting surfaces of the razor are textured during molding to have a glide improving texture.

  • Patent number: 10357891
Abstract: A reduced cost interconnection for shaving razor cartridges. A base member is injection molded as a single continuous mass. The base member defines at least one void that may receive a mass increasing member. The base member has a handle portion integrally formed with a living hinge and an interconnection feature. The interconnection feature is biased to detachably engage a counterpart interconnection feature of a blade cartridge. Elastomeric reinforcement in over molded onto the base member to improve the structural integrity of the living hinge.

  • Patent number: 9457486
Abstract: A shaving razor having integrally formed blade guards. A generally monolithic body is formed from a suitable material such as thermoplastic to define blade channels for a plurality of blades, 1 blade retained in each channel the cutting edges of which define a cutting plane. A plurality of blade guards is formed as part of the body such that the shaving plane passes through the blade guards with one blade guard forward of each blade in the cutting direction. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
