A noise damping or insulating device is arranged between the inner surface of the hood and the suction apparatus. The noise damping device has a damping sleeve surrounding the suction apparatus in the manner of a mantle.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner for professional and household purposes, with actuating elements for introducing the individual apparatus functions, including, for instance, turning the blower motor on and off, rewinding the power supply line into the housing interior, and changing the suction capacity. The actuating elements are capable of being actuated by foot. The actuating elements are combined in the form of a pedal strip arranged in a lower part of an end face or side of the vacuum cleaner. The pedal strip is arranged below the opening for the suction hose. The pedal strip extends over the width of the side, and forms a lower edge or termination thereof. The pedal strip is located within the outer contour of the apparatus housing. A free space for introducing the foot or shoe tip is arranged above the pedal strip, and the upper surface of the pedal strip may be inclined toward the front.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a receiving chamber and a removable dust collecting container. The dust collecting container has a guide groove on that outer surface facing the inlet flow connection of the vacuum cleaner, and this guide groove is adapted or matched to the discharge opening of the inlet flow connection. The guide groove extends from the bottom surface of the dust collecting container vertically upwardly as far as to the inlet flow opening of the dust collecting container. The dust collecting container has short inlet ribs arranged in an upper region upon that outer surface located across from the inlet flow opening and starting ribs in the transition between the bottom surface of the receiving chamber inlet rib containing wall. A soft elastic seal is pressed against the sealing surface of the dust collecting container in a region of the inlet flow opening, and the sealing surface surrounds the inlet flow connection.

Abstract: A removable dust collecting container for professional and household vacuum cleaners. The container is closed with a dust filter embodied as a cover, whereby between the dust collecting container and the cover-like filter, a soft-elastic seal is arranged. The filter is embodied in a frame configuration, and projects in a positively connecting manner into the opening of the dust collecting container. The seal is arranged tangentially between the inner surface of the dust collecting container and the outer surface of the filter which projects or extends into the dust collecting container. The filter may be embodied as a double filter, including a coarse filter on the inlet side and an immediately subsequent filter embodied as a fine filter.
