    Abstract: An ellipse drawing instrument employing a drawing arm, and a pair of members adapted to be connected to the drawing arm at two spaced points on the drawing arm, one of the members being constrained to move along a first path and the other of said members being constrained to move along a second path crossing the first path so that in use, as the members reciprocate along their respective paths, a point of the arm describes an elliptical path.The paths are linear and perpendicular to each other.
