Abstract: A cable shortener apparatus for permitting the length adjustment of a cable having a certain incompressable diameter. The cable is arranged for supporting a sign carrier from an overhead support. The cable shortener apparatus may be comprised of a duplicate pair of generally rigid annular rings lockably engagable with one another. Each ring may have an inner arcuate hub flange which defines a fixed hub surface for receiving at least one wrap of a support cable. An annular edge on each of the rings is spaced apart from one another when the rings are mated together. The spaced apart annular edges defining a gap no wider than the diameter of the cable being wrapped about the hub of the shortener.

Abstract: An extruded snap frame panel arrangement assembly for the biased pinching of a display panel therewithin. The arrangement includes an elongated back frame plate, a front frame plate and an elongated S-shaped double curved snap plate integrally co-extruded with the back plate and front plate, for biasedly pinching the display panel therebetween. A separate cover plate is slidably attached to the S-shaped double-curved snap plate for providing a further bias to the pinching of the display panel.

Abstract: A securement clip for supporting a sign from an overhead ceiling rail comprising a pair of sidewalls arranged to pinch a ceiling rail, a yieldable web connecting the sidewalls, and a hanger connectable to the web. The hanger is arranged to support a sign therefrom. The hanger may be a rigid shaft or a flexible cable. The web is of V-shape in transverse cross section, having a lower apex. The hanger preferably extends through an opening in the lower apex. The sidewalls have an upper edge with a rail engaging lip disposed thereon.

Abstract: A snap frame assembly for engagably supporting a one or double sided planar display panel, comprising an elongated extruded carrier frame having an elongated housing with a central opening therein, an elongated extruded front plate slidably mounted on an elongated rigid member extending from the housing. and an elongated pivotable member flexibly attached to the housing by an elongated commonly extruded hinge. The front plate has an upper channel member which rotatively pivots on an arm extending from the housing and has a lower channel member which pivots together with a curved housing plate which comprises a portion of the housing of the carrier frame.

Abstract: An extruded snap frame panel arrangement assembly for the biased pinching of a display panel therewithin. The arrangement includes an elongated back frame plate, a front frame plate and a curved snap plate integrally co-extruded with the back plate and front plate, for biasedly pinching the display panel therebetween. An elongated, separately extruded cover plate is slidably attached to the curved snap plate for providing a bias to the pinching of the display panel.

Abstract: A multiple component gripper extrusion for the gripping support of a poster display arrangement. The gripped extrusion comprises an elongated extruded back panel having a front face, a back face, a lower edge and an upper edge. An elongated extruded front panel with a panel leg at a proximal portion thereof and a channel at a distal edge thereof is arranged with the back panel. The front panel is integrally connected by a living hinge co-extruded simultaneously therewith. An elongated spring is adjustably disposed between the back panel and the distal edge of the front panel to permit controllable biasing of a poster supported on the back panel by the front panel.

Abstract: A frame panel apparatus for the ready presentation of flat media therein. The apparatus includes a flexible frame arranged to define a peripheral support for a display. An upper transparent panel having a periphery entirely enclosed by the flexible frame and a lower support panel having a periphery with a only a portion thereof supported by a shoulder member of the flexible frame support a display media therebetween.

Abstract: An elongated shell and internal gripper assembly for gripping and supporting sheet-like posters or pictures for display purposes in a readily exchangeable manner. The assembly comprises an elongated, extruded gripper clip has a planar backing base pivotable distal-most poster receiving edge. The assembly includes an elongated, extruded receiving shell with a gripper clip receiving channel centrally arranged therein and an edge slot at a lowermost portion of the shell members. The gripper clip is slidably received within the receiving channel. The gripper clip has its distalmost receiving edge extending distally beyond the edge slot of the shell to permit display and exchange of a poster or picture therefrom.

Abstract: The present invention comprises an elongated plastic hook assembly for the support of a sign or the like from an anchor secured to an elongated ceiling tile support member. The elongated hook assembly includes an elongated shaft having a first or upper end and a second or lower end with a first connection means arranged at the first or upper end of the elongated shaft and a hook member arranged at the second or lower end of the elongated shaft. The hook member and the elongated shaft have an annular locking segment connectively arranged therebetween. A web extends across the hook member to provide line of support for any further hook assembly saddled thereon, to minimize movement between any hook assemblies so connected.

Abstract: The present invention comprises an elongated extruded poster clamp support assembly for the stiff and reliable hanging of a poster or sign therefrom, comprising an elongated planar base having an upper edge and a lower edge, a channel arranged on the upper edge of the planar base, to permit the clamp to be supported, and a pair of elongated legs attached to the channel, the legs arranged to be rotated into a poster holding orientation by movement about a hinge extending from the channel. The legs thereby define two spaced apart pressure strips biased against the base, for the pinching of a poster therebetween. The invention includes an elongated groove arranged as part of the channel, for the receipt of a stiffener rod to help keep flat any poster supported in the clamp.

Abstract: The present invention comprises an elongated extruded plastic clip having a planar base portion joined to a planar leg in a parallel spaced apart manner. The leg and base are connected by a bridging portion. The leg has an elongated distal edge to which a curved clamp is attached. The clamp is secured to the leg by a flexible hinge. The clamp extends beyond the distal edge of the base to permit easy manual opening of the clamp and articulation thereof with respect to the base.

Abstract: An anti-rotation assembly for supportively hanging signs or the like, comprising a ceiling anchor having a clip which permits attachment of a suspender rod thereto. Each clip/anchor relationship with the suspender rod prevents rotation therebetween. The lower end of the suspender rod also has a hooked end which engages a further clip attached to a sign. This further clip and hook relationship at the lower end of the suspender rod also prevents rotation therebetween. The complete assembly being sufficiently rigid so as to prevent any rotation of the sign with respect to the anchor which itself is attachable to a horizontal portion of a window casing or a ceiling.

Abstract: An arrangement for attaching ceiling anchors to ceiling rails, including a bifurcated support which is attachable to an elongated pole. The support is engagable with an installment head which is bifurcated to define a carrying space for ceiling anchors. The installment head is adapted to keep anchors from slipping off of the head as it is moved relative to a ceiling rail.
