Abstract: A valve for a fluid, comprising: a body with an inlet, an outlet and a passage fluidly interconnecting the inlet and outlet; a shut-off device housed in the body and configured for selectively opening and closing the passage, the shut-off device comprising a main seat, a main closing element forming a channel extending there through and a pilot seat, a pilot closing element housed in the main closing element, a first compression spring, and a second compression spring; an actuating device of the shut-off device. The second compression spring is operatively mounted between the main closing element and the body and the first compression spring is stronger than the second compression spring.

Abstract: A valve comprising a body with an inlet, an outlet and a passage fluidly interconnecting the inlet and outlet; a shut-off device of the passage, with an actuating member movable along a longitudinal axis; a hand operating device of the actuating member, for selectively opening or closing the passage, and comprising a support element and a rotating element with at least one contact surface configured for sliding along at least one ramped surface on the support element, or vice versa, so as to convert rotation of the rotating element into a translation of the actuating member; wherein the body comprises two arms extending longitudinally and diametrically opposed relative to the longitudinal axis, with distal ends holding the support element.

Abstract: An electric generator having a rotor with permanent magnets, configured for rotating about a rotation axis; a stator having at least one magnetic yoke with arms extending axially inside or outside of the rotor so as to be adjacent to a radial inner or outer side, respectively, of the rotor; wherein the arms of the at least one magnetic yoke are circumferentially distributed so as to form a slot between each pair of adjacent arms, each slot and each arm showing a width. The widths of the arms and/or the widths of the slots have different values distributed along the circumference. The invention is also directed to a valve having the electric generator equipped with a turbine wheel for being driven by a flow of gas in the valve.

Abstract: A regulator for compressed gas, comprising a body with a gas inlet, a gas outlet and a gas passage fluidly interconnecting the gas inlet and gas outlet; a pressure reducer with, in the gas passage, a shut-off device and a movable assembly operatively connected to the shut-off device and delimiting with the body a regulating chamber downstream of the shut-off device; a pressure relief device in the gas passage downstream of the regulating chamber; and a flow restriction in the gas passage upstream of the shut-off device, dimensioned for reducing the gas pressure at the gas outlet under a maximum pressure value when the pressure relief device is opened and the shut-off device is opened.

Abstract: An electric generator comprising a rotor with permanent magnets, configured for rotating about a rotation axis; at least one magnetic yoke with at least two arms extending axially inside or outside of the rotor so as to be adjacent to the radial inner or outer side, respectively, of the rotor; wherein the permanent magnets are arranged according to an Halbach array so as to maximize the magnetic field on the radial side of the rotor adjacent to the arms of the at least one yoke. Also, a valve for gas cylinder, equipped with a corresponding electric generator.

Abstract: A method for calculating the remaining usage time of a gas cylinder equipped with a pressure reducer, the method comprising the following steps: (a) measuring the pressure of the gas in the cylin-der; (b) calculating the variation of pressure of the gas in the cylinder over time while gas is out-putted; (c) calculating a remaining usage time Tr based on the measured pressure in the cylinder and the calculated variation of pressure. Step (c) takes into account characteristics of the pressure reducer relative to variations of its nominal flow rate along the decrease of its inlet pressure while emptying the cylinder.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a device (1) and a process for dissolving a gas into a liquid like carbonating a water based beverage, comprising a pump (4) for the liquid, a mixing venture nozzle (8) with a main inlet (10) fluidly connected to the pump (4), at least one side inlet (14) connectable to a source of pressurized gas (6), and an outlet. The device (1) comprises also a conical flow restrictor (24) fluidly downstream of the mixing venture nozzle (8), and a pipe (20) of a length of at least 0.5 m fluidly interconnected between the mixing venture nozzle (8) and the flow restrictor (24).
