Patents Assigned to Roto-Sieve AB
  • Patent number: 5630362
Abstract: A refuse compacting device has dewatering capability and in some cases refuse transporting capability wherein refuse is fed into an outer cylinder in which an axially elongate piston is arranged. The piston is capable of reciprocating motion by a drive motor and threadable piston rod and nut arrangement, whereby refuse is forced towards an outlet of the cylinder. The cylinder is provided with apertures for allowing water to escape from the wet refuse as it is compacted against a conically shaped throttling member at the outlet of the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5041223
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement for an inlet pipe in a rotating drum sieve for the supply of sludge or a liquid mixed with particles to the inside of the rotating drum sieve, which drum sieve exhibits flow openings along its casing, in order to permit the separation of fluid from the sludge, etc., supplied to the internal space of the drum via plurality of discharge openings extending along the longitudinal axis of the drum and capable of being accommodated in the internal space of the drum. The invention permits the effective supply of sludge, etc., to the drum sieve in both small and large flows without the risk of blocking the inlet pipe. At least two simultaneously effective discharge openings for the supply of sludge. etc., to the internal space of the drum are situated on levels separate from one another.

  • Patent number: 5030348
Abstract: An arrangement for an inlet and an outlet in a rotating drum sieve for the separation of solid particles from a liquid mixed with particles in which a drum sieve comprises a drum casing provided with a sieve opening and a feed screw situated internally within the drum and is arranged for the supply of a liquid mixed with particles to the internal space of the drum and for the removal of sieved material from the internal space of the drum. The invention permits, amongst other things, a simple design for the sieve drum and the even and effective supply of liquid mixed with particles to the drum sieve, as well as effective and simple discharge of the drained material from the internal space of the drum.
