Patents Assigned to Rotorcomp Verdichter, GmbH
  • Patent number: 9206805
Abstract: An air regulator for compressor, in particular for a screw compressor, of the type that has an oil separator device comprising a pre-separator, is provided in a regulator housing containing a valve element which is spring-loaded on one side and can be actuated by means of a piston arrangement. A control device is operatively connected to the air regulator and includes a control piston which, depending on the pre-separator pressure, actuates the valve element of the air regulator in co-operation with a pre-control device in such a way that the regulator immediately and forcibly assumes the closed position upon starting the compressor, while the regulator assumes the open position in an unloaded initial state.

  • Publication number: 20140017110
Abstract: A screw compressor system which is designed to be compact and flexible with a modular design such that a screw compressor block, an oil separation container, an oil supply duct for a temperature regulator and an air intake duct are combined in a base housing having a lid. A further module component provided is a multifunction block in which a fine separator, an oil return, a minimum pressure-maintaining valve with a pure air outlet, an oil temperature regulator, an oil filter and connections for a sensor are combined.

  • Patent number: 4668252
Abstract: The invention is addressed to a degasifier for a liquid separated from a gaseous fluid in a gas/liquid separator, such as a degasifier for removing air in suspension in oil after separating the oil entrained in the compressed air, the oil separated from the compressed air being returned to the air compressor. The oil separated from the compressed air in the gas/liquid separator collects in a sump at the bottom of the separator housing. A vessel is disposed in the sump below the level of the oil in the sump. The vessel is open at its bottom and closed at its top, and is partially filled with the oil in the process of being degasified. The top of the vessel is connected by a conduit to a source of reduced pressure, for example a venturi tube disposed in the inlet to the gas fluid separator. The gas collecting below the top of the vessel, air in the example of application described, is continuously evacuated through the conduit and reinserted into the compressed air flow into the separator.

  • Patent number: 4666473
Abstract: A fluid separator for separating a liquid, such as an oil mist from a gaseous fluid, such as compressed air, the oil mist having been introduced into the compressed air in a compressor. The separator comprises a coarse separation section provided with an inlet directing the oncoming stream of gaseous fluid upon a surface causing coalescence and condensation of the mist of the liquid upon impact, in the form of droplets flowing by gravity to a sump. The stream of gaseous fluid is caused to flow away from the coarse separation section into a fine purification section in which the stream is passed through a fine filter cartridge, causing final condensation of the liquid and separation from the gaseous fluid. A fluid distributor is located at the inlet of the fine purification section and causes further condensation of the liquid by impact of the stream upon the wall of the fluid distributor.
