Patents Assigned to Rotzler GmbH & Co. Spezialfabrik fur Seilwinden und Hebezeuge
  • Patent number: 6471191
Abstract: A cable guide arrangement for a cable winch has a housing to be mounted relative to a cable winch such that a first end of housing faces the cable winch and a second end of the housing faces away from the cable winch. A cable guide channel penetrates the housing and has a closed circumferential wall. The cable guide channel has a longitudinal center axis extending perpendicularly to the first and second ends of the housing. The cable guide channel has open end portions at the first and second ends of the housing, respectively. The open end portion of the guide channel at the second end of the housing widens in a direction away from the cable winch to form an inlet funnel having an edge portion defining a funnel opening. The inlet funnel reduces wear on the cable especially when being pulled at a slant to the center axis through the cable guide arrangement.

  • Patent number: 4650162
Abstract: A winch is disclosed and is equipped with two drive shafts and two rope drums corresponding thereto. The rope drums have peripheral grooves in which the rope which is slung over the drums is guided. A slip clutch is provided to compensate for velocity differences in the region where the rope is slung over the rope drums. The slip clutch is associated with at least one of the two drive shafts of the rope drums.

  • Patent number: 4632363
Abstract: A winch is disclosed having at least one rope drum which includes a run-out groove on its periphery in which a rope is guided. The run-out groove is bounded in part by a tightening disc which is pressable against one side of the rope. The run-out groove for the rope is configured on a drive disc which is configured so as to be separate from the rope drum. The drive disc is coupled with the rope drum via a free runner and in such a manner that an operative connection existing when the rope is run out under load is interrupted when the load is removed from the rope.

  • Patent number: 4468006
Abstract: A continuous cable winch having at least one cable drum arranged within the winch frame, and a cable storage drum located externally of the frame for receiving a non-loaded cable section which is disposed with play in a guide which surrounds the cable and is located in the region between the winch frame and the cable storage drum. The ends of the guide are respectively secured on the winch frame and on the cable storage drum. The guide is flexible, and has radially open portions over its periphery. The guide may be a helical spring, the coils or windings of which are spaced from one another.

  • Patent number: 4225119
Abstract: A continuous winch with two wheels of which at least one is driven and in case of a multi-groove design is provided with a run-off groove for the non-loaded cable section, while the unloaded run-off cable section in the run-off groove is adapted to be clamped or guyed transverse to the running off direction. The run-off groove is on one side confined by a clamping wheel which is spring loaded in clamping direction substantially merely on that semi-arc which is looped around by the running-off cable.
