Abstract: A fertigation system comprises: a controller that transmits sensor data to a fertigation control server, and that controls a water supply valve, a culture stock solution supply valve, and a discharge valve on the basis of received data; and a fertigation control server that, on the basis of the sensor data received from the controller, calculates control amounts for the water supply valve, the culture stock solution supply valve, and the discharge valve, and returns the control amounts to the controller.

Abstract: A method for automatically deciding an Internet address of a device newly connected to a network is provided. Addresses of all the other devices connected to the network are collected by receiving and analyzing signals flowing through the network. IP address for the newly connected device is selected in such a manner that it is different from any of the collected addresses. It is checked whether the selected IP address matches with the IP address of any of other device connected to the network. If the selected IP address matches with the IP address of any other device, the selection of the IP address is repeated until the selected IP address does not match with the IP address of any other device.
Abstract: The network management system includes the electronic message generating unit that generates an electronic message from a status of a monitored unit which may generate a trouble; and the arranging unit that analyzes the contents of the electronic message generated by the electronic message generating unit, determines a seriousness level of the trouble, determines a destination of an electronic message according to the seriousness level and a time and date of an occurrence, adds causes and/or countermeasures of the trouble to the electronic message, and transmits the electronic message to the destination.
Abstract: Electronic documents are exchanged between a plurality of devices. Electronic document received from a source device is analyzed. From the result of this analysis it is decided whether to transmit the electronic document to some other destination device or decide the destination of the electronic document that is to be relayed. Electronic documents to be relayed are divided or merged in accordance with a predetermined length of the electronic document and allowable stay times for respective destination device. The divided or merged electronic document are transmitted to the destination device.
