Abstract: The present invention concerns a compression wedge of a lead-through system. The compression wedge comprises a number of wedge elements (1, 2, 3, 4). At least one of the wedge elements (1, 2, 3, 4) has a core (9, 10, 11, 12) of a harder material than an outer part surrounding the core (9, 10, 11, 12). The part surrounding the core (9, 10, 11, 12) is made of an elastic material. The wedge is moved between a non-compression state and a compression state by means of one single screw (6) co-operating with a socket (7).
Abstract: The disclosure concerns a compression unit, in the form of wedge, of a transition for cables, pipes or wires. The wedge is to be placed inside a frame together with a number of compressible modules, which modules are to receive cables etc. The wedge comprises a number of wedge elements. The wedge is moved between non activated and activated positions by means of a screw, received in a through opening of a first wedge element, and a sleeve, received in an opening of a second wedge element. The wedge further comprises at least one clip, of an electrically conductive material, placed inside the wedge. The at least one clip is placed to connect the screw with the frame to connect the screw to earth.
Abstract: A seal, lead-through or transit for cables, wires or pipes which seal, lead-through or transit has one or more compressible parts surrounding the cable, etc. and a position of an opening receiving the cable, etc. is adjustable. In one example, the opening may be placed off-center on a partition line between two module parts. In other example, an inner compressible body may be placed inside an outer compressible body or between two module parts. The inner compressible body has an opening receiving the cable, etc. which opening is placed off-center. By rotating the inner compressible body the position of the opening receiving a cable, etc. is adjusted.

Abstract: A modular connector for cables and pipes has a compressible body with an axial groove provided therein for arrangement of a shielded cable extending from a first end to a second end, and the groove is dimensioned or dimensionable to sealingly fit around a circumference of the shielded or armored cable or the pipe. The connector has a conductor arrangement arranged between the first end and the second end, the conductor arrangement may be sandwiched between the compressible body and a cable screen or armor of the cable or the pipe. The the conductor arrangement further extends to an outside of the modular connector.
Abstract: A seal for pipe penetration or the like is formed, in at least one embodiment, of two halves, the seal received in a sleeve or opening of a wall or the like. The seal forms a central opening for a pipe or tube when the seal halves are brought together. Each seal half is formed of two base parts. Between the base parts a layer of intumescent material is placed. On the inside of the base parts peelable layers are arranged. The layers are peeled off to adapt the inner diameter of the seal to the pipe or tube received. In case of fire, the intumescent material will expand which expansion will collapse and close off the pipe or tube received in the seal.

Abstract: A compressible module having an axial groove for localization of a cable or pipe having at least two module sections or submodules having differing physical properties.
