    Abstract: There is disclosed herein an improved cream-like nail polish remover consisting of a neutralizing-system and gelling-agent component, a solvent component, and an additive component. The component includes a gelling agent of an acrylic acid monomer and a neutralizing system N,N,N',N'-Tetrakis (2-hydroxypropyl) ethylenediamine and 2-ethyl-N-(2-ethylhexyl-1-hexamine. The solvent can be 2(3H)-furanone, dihydro-, which has a low vapor pressure at room temperature and a flash point above room temperature.
