The fence post has an elongated body having an outer wall and at least one elongated channel defined by said outer wall. The elongated channel has opposing sides and an open front. In a further embodiment the component channel includes a lip protruding inwardly from the opposing sides adjacent to the front portion. Each of the rail members has a multiple piece construction including first and second interlocking synthetic rail pieces and a metallic reinforcing insert. The insert has holes at post attachment locations along the insert. Each post has screw ports to opposite ends of the post. Rail members are secured to the posts by threaded attachment members passing through the holes in the inserts and into the screw ports of the posts. The first rail pieces are trapped between the posts and the inserts. The second rail pieces lock onto the first rail pieces hiding the reinforcing inserts internally of the rail members.

Abstract: A frame for bordering conduit access through a building floor has a rigid body portion and a lining of intumescent material on an interior surface of the rigid body portion. The intumescent material has sufficient expansion capacity to close off the opening through the frame under conditions which produce an intumescing of the lining. The rigid body portion itself is preferably made of a metallic material to enhance transfer of heat energy from the rigid body portion to the lining of the frame.

Abstract: A water sewer drainage system particularly directed to prevent spread of West Nile disease includes an underground water drain off region, a ground level opening to a down passage to the drain off region, a sewer grate across the ground level opening and an insect block in the down passage below the sewer grate. The insect block inhibits insects from gaining access to the drain off region while permitting flow of water through the system.
