Abstract: An exercise device is disclosed including a first elongated structural member extending in a longitudinal direction. A resistance element is connected to the first elongated structural member, the resistance element providing a resistance force. A seat is connected to the first structural member, the seat includes a seating surface. A drive which drives the resistance element includes a handle to be held by a user. The seat and resistance element are moveable with respect to each other in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction and a centroid of the resistance element is arranged lower than an upper edge of the first elongated structural member.
