    Abstract: A device for removing layers of corrosion and other coatings from a metal surface is disclosed. Said device includes a signal generator driving an induction coil that is positioned on the structure. A control unit includes a temperature sensor that senses the temperature in the metal structure. The control unit is adapted to control the power output of the signal generator in accordance with the temperature in the metal structure.
