Abstract: A garment rack for a vehicle. The rack includes a horizontal rod for clothes hangers. The front end of the horizontal rod is pivotally supported on the upper end of a vertical rod positioned behind the front seat of the vehicle. The upper end of the vertical rod is secured behind the headrest of the front seat, and the rear end of the horizontal rod is removably attached to the top of the headrest of the rear seat. The horizontal rod is adjustable telescopically so that, as the front or rear seat is moved forward or backward, the rod extends and retracts automatically. The height of the vertical rod also is adjustable.
