Abstract: A transformable costume upper torso component including a body covering front portion and at least one sleeve portion extending therefrom, where the sleeve portion includes a first surface and a reverse or underlying second surface, where the first surface is displayed in a rolled-up position of the sleeve portion and displays a first look, where the second surface is displayed in a rolled-down position of the sleeve portion and displays a second look, and where the first look is different from the second look.

Abstract: A mask comprising a face covering component and an attached resilient, plastic component, wherein the resilient plastic component is secured to the rear of the face covering component, and wherein the resilient plastic component is adapted to hold the mask on the face of a user without the need for any independent holding means. The face covering component comprises two eye openings for the eyes of a user wearing the mask, and can comprise an image of a costume character. The face covering component can preferably be made of paper or a resilient plastic material. The face covering component can be a full-face mask, an upper-face mask, or an eye-covering mask. The resilient plastic is adapted to roll upon itself into a cylinder and the ends of the plastic layer tend to hold the mask to the temples of the wearer.

Abstract: A balloon-supporting centerpiece having several tubes molded to a base with a central aperture. A tube can be secured into the tubes of the base and provides a channel for holding sticks having balloons attached thereto. The tubes can be secured beneath the base when not in use. The preferred base is a cylinder or heart shape. Tinsel strips cover the top of the base to hide the apertures and present a festive balloon centerpiece.

Abstract: A microphone-shaped speaker device preferably for use by children, teenagers, young adults and even adults for leisure and fun. The microphone shaped device can be electrically connected and appear to be a regular microphone for receipt of lyrics of a song or a voice for playing through and out of a speaker but, in fact, it necessarily is also an audio speaker, located at or adjacent to the mouth of the entertainer. The device is connected to a source of audio, digital or analog, signals of the voices of pre-recorded entertainers. In this manner, an extremely realistic effect/illusion is provided, the user seems to be singing (when suitably lip synched to the lyrics of the pre-recorded songs), with the voice, tone, harmony, melody, etc. of the professional singer.

The semi-rigid costume components are capable of being sewn to fabric to form an integrated costume. An embodiment is shown in which the costume includes a semi-rigid muscular torso suitable for a superhero chestpiece. The sewn rigid component is formed from fusing a layer of fabric to a layer of foam and the resulting laminate is vacuum molded into a three-dimensional shape.
