Patent number: 4833018Abstract: Bubble-formation when melting a magnetically adhering bituminous soundproofing sheet provided with a hot-melt adhesive layer (4) onto an automobile body sheet metal at temperatures of about 190.degree. C., is prevented by integrating a flexible, temperature-resistant foil (5) into the soundproofing sheet. For soundproofing sheets up to 3 mm thick, the spacing between the hot-melt layer (4) and the foil (5) preferably should not exceed 1 mm.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1988Date of Patent: May 23, 1989Assignee: Ruetgerswerke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Karl Ruehl, Karlheinz Bildner

Patent number: 4774115Abstract: A high-temperature resistant sealing strip for bridge-sealing is prepared from a strip with a cover substance containing a mixture of bitumen and a radiation-crosslinking polymer in the ratio of 7/3 to 19/1 and which is crosslinked in an electron accelerator at an irradiation dose between 5 and 16.times.10.sup.4 Gy.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 1987Date of Patent: September 27, 1988Assignee: Ruetgerswerke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Karl Ruehl, Ernst Scherp
-
Patent number: 4764318Abstract: Coke for reactor graphite is produced continuously by coking a hard pitch with a softening point (K.-S.) above 130.degree. C. and a coking residue of at least 45% by weight in a rotary pipe furnace equipped with a moving device and subsequent calcination without intermediate cooling. The temperature of the inner wall of the indirectly heated furnace ranges from about 500.degree. to about 800.degree. C. The gases and vapors formed during the coking process are guided in countercurrent flow to the pitch.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 1987Date of Patent: August 16, 1988Assignee: Ruetgerswerke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Manfred Morgenstern, Claus Bertrand
-
Patent number: 4689395Abstract: Anhydrous adhesives and sealants based on mercapto terminated polymers and/or oligomers and manganese (IV) oxide as the hardener are thermosetting if they contain only alkaline or neutral fillers and additives. The mixtures can be used for application with heating.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 1986Date of Patent: August 25, 1987Assignee: Ruetgerswerke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Franz-Josef Bergmann, Lothar Hockenberger, Peter Endruscheit, Ralf Paehler

Patent number: 4678715Abstract: Wood that is especially suited for the manufacture of resonating bodies, is improved according to a process in which small amounts of reactive components of thermosetting polymers are introduced into the wood shortly before or during a heat treatment under pressure.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 1986Date of Patent: July 7, 1987Assignee: Ruetgerswerke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Eberhard Giebeler, Gerhard Wilhelm
-
Patent number: 4661115Abstract: New coupling or shading (nuance) components are described which in combination with pertinent developers are used for dyeing of hair. These coupling components are dinitropyridine derivatives of the general formula: ##STR1## whereby the substituents X, Y, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 have the meaning given.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 1986Date of Patent: April 28, 1987Assignee: Ruetgerswerke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Winfred Orth, Karl-Heinz Schrader, Werner Fickert
-
Patent number: 4584329Abstract: Hardenable molding masses are disclosed containing an organic binder material, fillers and additives wherein the binder material after the shaping and hardening is pyrolytically decomposed. The development of harmful substances such as aromatic hydrocarbons is considerably reduced through the addition of a boron containing compound.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 1985Date of Patent: April 22, 1986Assignee: Ruetgerswerke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Arno Gardziella, Peter Adolphs, Alois Kwasniok

Patent number: 4552575Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for the mass separation of a liquid mixture through fractional crystallization, wherein the crystal layer is crystallized on the indirectly cooled wall of the crystallization zone. The mass transfer occurs in thin boundary layers which are produced by rising gas bubbles which glide as closely as possible along the heat-dissipating surfaces. The method is well suited for products which form only a soft crystal layer with a rough surface. It is carried out in a vertical pipe heat exchanger into the pipes of which (6) there extend into the lower part thereof gas-inlet pipes (7) which are mounted in the middle and are secured with centering pins (8). The maximum inside diameter of the pipes is dependent upon the optimum thickness of the crystal layer and of the concentration of the crystallizable component in the feedstock.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 1983Date of Patent: November 12, 1985Assignee: Ruetgerswerke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Konrad Stolzenberg, Karl H. Koch, Rolf Marrett
