Abstract: A firearm suppressor is provided, including a tubular core, a baffle carried within the core, and a tubular mount. The core may be attached end-to-end to the mount. A cap may be attached end-to-end to the core opposite the mount. An intermediate member may be included, extending between the mount and the cap, and residing outboard of the core. The intermediate member may be welded to the mount and to the cap. The mount, the cap, and the intermediate member may be composed of one or more of titanium, aluminum, resins, polymers, composites, carbon fiber, and ceramics, whereas the core and the baffle may be composed of one or more of cobalt, nickel alloy, steel, stainless steel, and cobalt alloy.

Abstract: Methods and interface devices for attaching to a firearm muzzle a suppressor having a rearward end with a threaded portion. The interface device includes an elongated body portion having a first end portion, a second end portion generally opposite the first end portion. The body portion defines a bore therethrough, and the bore defines a longitudinally-extending central axis. The first end of the body portion defines a threaded engagement portion configured to threadingly engage the threaded portion of the firearm muzzle. The exterior surface of the body portion defines visible indicia indicating a preselected position, whereby upon the suppressor being threadingly engaged with the threaded engagement portion and rotated such that the rearward end suppressor is at a preselected position relative to the indicia, the suppressor is properly tightened with respect to the interface device.
Abstract: The invention relates to devices for attaching or detaching a sound suppressor or an auxiliary device to a firearm. The device has a mount body that is attached by threads to a muzzle attachment device that is attached to the muzzle of a firearm. The muzzle attachment device has external mounting threads, a gas seal, an engagement surface, and a locking surface on the rear of the muzzle attachment device. The engagement surface simultaneously provides an alignment function and a forward locking function. A rotating collar is attached by threads to the mount body, and a locking spring with locking surfaces is attached to the mount body by threads, with the locking spring fitting inside the rotating collar.
