Abstract: A nozzle dam has a valve controlled passage through the nozzle dam wall for releasing trapped gas from the nozzle in the region below the nozzle dam. The gas is released while the reactor coolant system water general level is above the level of the nozzle dam.
Abstract: A vacuum truck exhaust gas treatment apparatus for removing gases from air discharged from a vacuum truck comprising a trailer having an enclosed housing attached thereto with the housing divided into four internal, isolated chambers of equal volume with gas removal materials within each chamber. Air and gases discharged from a vacuum truck are directed into a first chamber of the treatment system and circulated through the remaining chambers whereupon the gases are removed and clean air is discharged to the atmosphere.
