    Abstract: An F1 interspecific hybrid of Cornus kousa×C. florida that is distinguished by its large bracts, a compact and dense attitude, wider than tall, and a flowering habit in the middle of the blooming season for the commercially available cultivars of Cornus kousa×C. florida. The cultivar has a high level of winter hardiness, and is highly resistant to dogwood anthracnose and the common dogwood borer.
