    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for detecting electrical energy delivered to an electric vehicle. To this end, the following steps are provided: connecting the electric vehicle to a charging station for obtaining electrical energy provided on a charging cable, feeding the desired energy quantity into a battery of the electric vehicle during a desired charging period, detecting of at least one electrical value required for the calculation of the energy quantity by an energy quantity meter and output of the at least one electrical value, required by the energy quantity meter for the calculation of the energy quantity, to a monitoring device for the operational monitoring of the charging station.

    Abstract: Charging cable locking device for electric vehicles with a receptacle 2 on the vehicle side to receive a charging cable 4 that can be connected with a charging station 20, and a locking unit 8 arranged at the receptacle 2, wherein the locking unit 8 is arranged for locking and releasing the charging cable 4 with the receptacle 2. Secure charging is possible in that the locking unit 8 is coupled with a closing unit 32 of the vehicle such that on activation of the closing unit 32, the charging cable 4 can be locked with the receptacle 2, and that on deactivation of the closing unit 32, the charging cable 4 can be released from the receptacle 2.

    Abstract: A method for charging electric vehicles through connecting an electric vehicle to a charging station for receiving electric energy. Different power supply offers can be selected particularly simple in that at least a state of charge of a battery and a desired duration of charge is determined in the vehicle, the energy required for fully charging the battery is determined in the vehicle, at least information concerning the required energy and the duration of charge is transmitted to the charging station by the vehicle and at least one power supply offer adapted to the information is received by the vehicle from the charging station which power supply offer has been determined from among a plurality of different power supply offers by means of the charging station using the information received.
