Abstract: A healthcare communication system disclosed herein facilitates communications with patients in healthcare setting using a web-based application using one or more desktop and/or mobile devices. Specifically, an implementation of the system provides a web-based application that delivers patient communication content to a patient mobile device within healthcare settings, such as patient waiting rooms at hospital emergency departments, clinics, inpatient facilities, etc. The system also coordinates the communication with the patients, nurses, friends and relatives of the patient, etc.
