Patents Assigned to S.A.I.C.
  • Patent number: 5574170
Abstract: The present invention concerns compounds of formula (I) which is the novel 2-(1-pyrrolidinyl)ethylester of (.+-.)-5-benzoyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolizine-1-carboxyl- or ketorolac-acid, the pharmaceutically acceptable addition salts thereof, preferably oxalate. It is known that the commercially available ketorolac (trometamole salt) exhibits undesired side effects (gastrointestinal irritation and ulceration). Surprisingly, when applying the compounds according to the invention there are considerably less undesired effects which render them potentially of great advantage as analgetic/antiphlogistic agent.

  • Patent number: 5392992
Abstract: A paint spray gun comprises a body having a compressed air supply to atomize paint from a paint source external to the gun. The gun has a needle which is spring urged forwardly and retractable by a trigger to control the opening and closing of a nozzle in a spray head. There are two sealing joints between the needle and the body of the spray gun, and they surround a portion of the needle which is upstream from the paint in the direction that the paint flows along the needle and out the nozzle. A sealing cartridge comprises a cylindrical body enclosing the two sealing joints surrounding the needle, and a prestressed compression spring surrounds the needle and is disposed between the two joints and urges the two joints away from each other against solid surfaces that deflect the joints into sealing contact with the needle. A needle support in the form of a single piece opens at one end in the spray head and at its other end contains the sealing cartridge.

  • Patent number: 5302144
Abstract: An electrical cable connector comprises at least two insulative material jaw members adapted to define between them at least two parallel channels, one for each cable. At least one metal contact member is carried by one of the jaw members in a housing in which it is at least partially accommodated. It has active parts at the front adapted to intersect both channels. Clamping means close the jaw members so as to close the channels onto the cables. Insulative material seals are disposed around the respective active parts of the contact member and linked by a crosspiece. The crosspiece is secured by deformation to the respective jaw member so that it is fastened thereto. To this end the crosspiece is disposed between two ribs which are one piece with the jaw member and are deformed under pressure into a U-shape pressing against the crosspiece.

  • Patent number: 4964813
Abstract: A branch connection accessory device for an insulated branch cable to be connected to an insulated main cable comprises a two-part clamping system. This is adapted to clamp the branch cable between the two parts, at least a first of which is electrically conductive. An insulated conductor appendix is factory-fitted, electrically connected and mechanically joined to the first part. It is adapted to be connected to a non-separate branch connector having two jaws, to one of which the appendix is connected and the other of which is connected to the main cable. An insulative seal envelops the device, a hole in the seal providing access to the first part. A well in the seal in line with the other part enable the latter to be operated. The device therefore constitutes a sealed, insulative branch connection accessory device.

  • Patent number: 4612551
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement for the omnidirectional orientation of an antenna. The arrangement includes a housing mounted on a fixed mast so that it can rotate around the axis of the latter, and an antenna support mounted on the housing so that it can rotate around an axis perpendicular to the mast. Two adjustment assemblies including a toothed ring integral with one of the elements of the adjustment assemblies and a worm engaged on the toothed ring and mounted immovable in translation on another element of each adjustment assembly, allow the antenna to be adjusted finely in elevation and in the azimuth. The arrangement also includes locking means for locking each of the adjustment assemblies. In the event of the deterioration of the adjustment arrangements associated with the fixing arrangement, the effectiveness of the immobilization is not prejudiced.
